It took me a couple of tries to create my blog for this class. I hope this isn't an indication of things to come! I'm looking forward to learning how these new technologies can be used in the classroom.

  1. My poor sister started her blog three times: she lost it once, I lost if for her one time when I was trying to help, and the third one was permanent. Just remember you have to scribble to get used to any medium before you can use it confidently. We are at the scribbling stage here.

  2. So true! I'm just wondering how long I will continue to be in that scribbling stage.

  3. Agreed. I don'te necessarily want to set up a blog on my persona life (not part of the ME generation) but am interested in how it can be used in the classroom.

  4. I would also like to understand how to use this in the classroom. I have concerns about parents using this or students for that matter and if they did not have to identify themselves it could get ugly.

I agree. This is a great questions to ask. When I post this I am going to see if my picture comes up. I think it does. If this is true-- you can have a picture of the student in the blog so students know who is saying what.

  6. Question to ask...if you have the blog with your name, it seems to come up and you could have a picture. My picture on my blog is water lillies as I used a sample picture and I like the artist Monet.

  7. It took me more than a few tries to FIND your blog. I think that is part of my hesitancy--I don't know if I could keep up with all the reading and responding that seems to go along with blogging. I'll keep an open mind...
