Tandem by Tracey Bateman

Tandem was the first book of Tracey Bateman’s that I have read. I love suspense novels and was really excited and eager to begin reading when I received the book. I was disappointed when, in Chapter One, I realized the book was about vampires. Had I know it was about vampires, I never would have chosen it. Even though reading books involving vampires is the “hot genre”, that genre does not appeal to me. It was very difficult at first for the book to keep my interest. However, the further I read, the more I became intrigued with the story.

Upon finishing the book, I was amazed at how much I enjoyed the book and how difficult it became for me to put it down. Does it make me want to run out and read Twilight? No, but I am looking forward to reading Tracey’s book Thirsty, which main character is a character from Tandem.

I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review.
